Steuartel Company was incorporated in 1992 as a fully owned subsidiary of George Steuart & Company and commenced its operation in June 1993 at No 6, Arthur’s Place, Angulana, Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
This venture being the first of its kind was awarded the pioneering status by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board duly recognizing its remarkable achievement.
Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) being our most valuable Corporate client from the day one, Steuartel business integration with Sri Lanka’s leading network providers has proved its capability and commitment during the last decade of telecommunication industry in Sri Lanka.

In 1997, the company diversified its business in to telecommunication services also opening a new chapter in its forward march and had acquired a sizeable market share in Telco installations to Suntel (Pvt) Ltd, second largest fixed line network provider in Sri Lanka by the year 2000. Moving further Steuartel had successfully ventured in to the retail business of feature telephone marketing also such as display phones & CLI models via SLT teleshops expanding the business further in its search of new opportunities.

Today, we are a true multi-facet Telco company thanks to the untiring efforts and commitments by our dedicated team who are in continuous search for excellence.
